@olli: Thank you ! This very special is the Arctic light ! This was taken on a late evening in the north of Finland where the sun doesn't set for 2 months and a half ! It's a very strange feeling !

special arctic light is right! all he places i have experienced arctic light, i have wanted to stay up all night long! beautiful capture here -- such a marvelous scenery! i must hurry up and get myself to Finland! Marvelous!

@dj.tigersprout: you know what ? after the midnight sun I a lo,nging to go there in winter and see those "aurores boréales" ,the moonlight on the snow and the purple or orange skies I have been told about ! ;-)

yes -- you simply must! i made an attempt this winter to see the aurora borealis in alaska -- alas it was overcast the entire time! i will try my luck again in september when the aurora season starts anew! best of luck to you! :)
